Actress Brittany Murphy was pronunced dead this morning at 10:04 am at the Los Angeles Cedars-Sinai Medical Center. Murphy’s husband Simon Monjack called authorities to their home Sunday morning at 8am, then Murphy was transported to the hospital. Brittany Murphy received attention from her role in the film “Clueless,” and from there her career includes films such as “Don’t Say A Word,” “8 Mile,” “Girl, Interrupted” and lent her voice as Gloria in the 2006 film “Happy Feet.” She was set to appear in next year’s film “The Expendables.”
Hollywood is shocked by the death of the young actress, and Murphy’s friends and colleagues have begin to express their thoughts, as Ashton Kutcher stated today via his Twitter: “2day the world lost a little piece of sunshine. My deepest condolences go out 2 Brittany’s family, her husband, & her amazing mother Sharon.” Alicia Silverstone who worked with Murphy in “Clueless,” stated “I always felt connected to her as we shared a very special experience in our lives together. I feel love in my heart for her—and hope she is at peace. This is truly sad.”
It is always unfortunate to hear of another life lost. Our prays go out to Brittany Murphy’s family.

It is no secret that Day26 has been going through drama with group member Que for some time now. Well today, Que has confirmed that he has been kicked out the group via his twitter page. Que tweeted he received a letter stating he was no longer a member of Day26, and expressed his hurt and shock.
Willie of Day26 did an interview shortly after with 107.5 Chicago and claimed Que’s behavior from Making The Band continued after the show eneded, to the point Que begin missing shows and making the Day26 label status unstable. Willie also stated he doesn’t even have Que’s phone number. Wow. I can’t say I didn’t see this coming. Dang Que, at least he still has a solid connection in the industry with Dawn, right?
Day26 is signed with Atlantic Records now, since Diddy packed up Bad Boy and signed with Interscope. Stay tuned with Status Media Global for updates on the Day26/Que situation…
