Don’t look for Secretary of State Hillary Clinton to attempt the 2012 presidential election. She spoke with Today Show’s Ann Curry and affirmed she had no interest in the Oval Office.

“No, no. This is a great job,” Clinton said. “It is a 24/7 job and I’m looking forward to retirement at some point.”

Curry and Clinton spoke on a range of issues from President Barack Obama’s Nobel Peace Prize win to the war in Afghanistan.

After many have criticized Obama’s acceptance of the Nobel Peace Prize, Curry asked Clinton her take on it.

“The fact that the Nobel committee and I can’t read their minds, none of us can, but the fact that they recognized his attitude towards America in the world, his willingness to challenge everyone to kind of step and take responsibility really restores an image and an appreciation of our country,” she said.

She also elaborated on the war of Afghanistan’s dire circumstances. This past week alone 10 soldiers have died. Clinton affirmed that Obama would make his decision on the war after much discussion with his administration.

Clinton is scheduled to speak at several international locations in the upcoming months.
