Halloween isn’t just for the kiddies. While adults enjoy costume parties, who knew there were drinks specifically for Halloween around?
Whether you’re hosting a Halloween party, attending one, or just plain looking for a good drink, check out these Halloween drink recipes. Yum!
3 parts of Absolut 100
½ part of Hiram Walker Pumpkin Spice Liqueur
Splash of simple syrup
Combine all ingredients over ice and shake. Strain into martini glass and garnish with a cinnamon stick.
2 oz. of Skyy Vodka
4 oz. of Cranberry juice
½ oz. of triple sec
Combine all ingredients with ice in a shaker. Strain into a martini glass with sugar rim.
2 oz. of black vodka
3 dashes of bitters
Red food coloring
Pour the vodka and bitters into a Collins glass. Fill the glass with ice, then pour in the ginger ale. Garnish with a “bloody” orange.
1 bottle of (inexpensive) red wine
12 oz. of club soda
2 oz. of cognac
3 tbs. of warmed honey
4 sliced figs
1/2 cup of red or black grapes, halved
1/2 cup of pitted cherries (can use frozen if necessary)
Combine the fruit in a large glass bowl, adding the cognac and honey until the honey is dissolved. Pour in the wine and stir gently. Refrigerate for a minimum of two hours and as long as over night. When ready to serve, pour the mixture into a glass pitcher. (Some people prefer to strain out the fruit at this point and then add it at the end to individual servings.) Add the club soda and stir gently. Pour sangria into wine or highball glasses that are filled with ice.
