The Limelight: Lil Wayne “The Carter Documentary”

Lil Wayne offers raw and candid video into his life in “The Carter Documentary.” The documentary gained much notice and praise at the 2009 Sundance  Film Festival, as it features Wayne’s life on the road and documents him from the release of his 2008 “The Carter III” album and several months after. The doc shows Wayne recording, performing, smoking, and many other aspects of his life with commentary ranging from his manager, Cortez, to his daughter Reginae. The documentary was produced by Quincy Jones III and directed by Adam Lough. The Carter Documentary is available for purchase today, (November 17) at all participating retailers. Check below for a look into the first 10 minutes of the documentary…

While Wayne is not the best rapper alive in my opinion, he is certainly one of the best in the game, and this documentary appears to feature great aspects of his life. Can’t wait to see the entire documentary.
