The uber successful and multi-media tycoon will be bidding adieu to her “Oprah Winfrey Talk Show” audience in 2011. A spokesman, Don Halcombe, for Harpo Productions announced the show’s end today, Winfrey will annouce it Friday to her live audience in Chicago.
According to Oprah.com, the show has been the highest-rated talk show for 23 years and is broadcasted in 145 countries. She’s paved the way for the talk show careers of Tyra Banks, Rachel Ray, Dr. Phil and many more.
Oprah has set a tradition to never interview rappers.
She broke it and chose to interview Jay-Z on a show earlier this year.
