Marsha Ambrosius, songstress of former group Floetry has inked a deal of her own today.
She’s been recording for a while and her solo comeback has been highly anticipated. Her mixtape, Marsha Ambrosius Greatest Hits, is a collection of former Floetry songs and others she’s worked on. The mixtape is beyond great, especially “The Light 08” feat. Common, “Cocaina” feat. Busta and “Freakin Me.” Also, she’s recently been featured on newcomer Wale’s “Diary” off his Attention Deficit album.
She tweeted today via her Twitter page (@marshaambrosius) that the deed is done. She’s officially a signed solo artist. The Grammy nods, cameos and writing credits still don’t do the songbird justice. Her voice is amazing and she seems to have a great personality to boot. She’s a breath of fresh air to R n B. Can’t wait for her new music.
