After a vote by U.S. editors, Tiger Woods was chosen as the Athlete of the Decade for all of his accomplishments of the last ten years. According to USA Today, Tiger received 56 of the 142 votes. Tiger has achieved 64 wins over the last ten years and only one loss. He holds 56 PGA Tour victories. Many of the votes for Tiger were received after his car accident, but people didn’t let his recent scandal mark his success of the last ten years. Coming in 2nd was Lance Armstrong, who won the Tour de France six times in the last 10 years. 3rd was Swiss tennis player Roger Federer. Rounding out 4th was Olympic swimmer Michael Phelps.
