There has been a lot of noise and big sales going on in the music industry the past month. Big name artist are debuting with less than likely numbers (*cough*C. Breezy and others), and new artists are breaking chart records. BillBoard is the premier source for album sales and airplay rankings in the music industry. For the week of January 16, 2010 the Billboard charts are as follows:

Analyze This: Trey Songz certainly is ready, as he has 3 songs in the top 10 r&b charts for 3 weeks now. Melanie Fiona deserves an applause for having the #1 song for 2 straight weeks, however, her album has yet to crack the top 20 on Billboard 200. Lady GaGa is on another level, after a monster year with top singles, her album is still #2 on the Billboard 200, and her EP The Fame Monster is also in the BillBoard albums top 10 (stoopid checks being cut to her production team). For those unaware of Susan Boyle, her debut album has sold over 3 million units in less than 2 months. Peep this weeks album sales below….
