Today in History

Today is February 10, 2010 and as always SMG is here to educate the masses. Here’s a glimpse of today in history…pay attention.

2004: Kanye West releases his debut album College Dropout, the album sold over 3 million copes and earned Kanye West a Grammy for Best Rap Album.

1992: Ron Brown is elected chairman of the Democratic National Committee, becoming the first Black man to head a major U.S. political party. He served from 1989 until 1992.

1967: The 25th Amendment goes into effect. This law deals with presidential succession due to disability or resignation. In the case of a President being removed from office, the VP shall take over as the head of state.
