Last night, March Madness reached far beyond the hardwood. With all the big games from this month, who would think that a political score would be the most prominent.
A 219-212 vote by the House Democrats is was sent the health care legislation one step closer to law. Without one single vote from Republicans, the health care reform issue continues to divide the country. President Obama has tentative plans to sign the bill on Tuesday.
According to the Associated Press, the 10-year, $938 billion bill will extend health coverage to 32 million uninsured Americans, reduce deficits and ban unethical practices by insurance companies.
