Today a parole hearing will leave one man free on the weekends. Thomas Hagan 69, is one of three men convicted of killing Malcolm X in April 1966.
After his 17th appearance before the NY state parole board, Hagan was granted release from weekends in prison to take effect on April 28.
Hagan has been incarcerated on the weekends at Lincoln Correctional Facility for 22 years. The other two convicted gunman were previously paroled.
